The Coding (Python, SQL) in Finance Certificate program equips professionals with practical Python, and SQL coding skills specifically for the financial industry.

You will gain a strong knowledge of financial products across all asset classes including pricing and risk analytics, data, financial regulations such as FRTB, terminology, solution architecture, learn Python programming from scratch, gain SQL coding skills, earn the completion certificate (after successfully completing all the requirements), and receive job search support from professional investment banking recruiters.

Note – In the beginning phase of the program, you will take the Market Risk (Finance) course over the first few weeks to gain knowledge of the relevant financial topics. The Coding courses (SQL in Finance, and Python in Finance) are then taught after. You will combine your newly developed coding skills and financial knowledge to write programs for financial applications in SQL, and Python.

Minimum admission criteria: Knowledge of MS Excel (ability to use formulas, and built-in functions) is highly recommended but not required. No finance or programming knowledge is required to join the program.

Duration: 8 weeks + an additional 2 weeks for the Python project at the end of the program.

This program does not lead to the FinBA certificate. It is a subset of the full (FinBA) program.
